Arunachal Pradesh has received Geographical Indication (GI) tags for two of its products: the Wancho Wooden Craft and the Adi Kekir ginger. The Wancho Wooden Craft is a traditional art form passed down through generations, with artisans carving wood to adorn their homes and present gifts. The Adi Kekir ginger, grown in specific districts, is known for its distinct taste and is an important part of the region's culinary identity. These products join a list of other Indian creations that have received GI tags, including paintings, shawls, sarees, and food products.
